Great Benefits for Lairds of Glencoe

Highland Titles is a worldwide family of small landowners who have made a commitment to help us conserve a part of wild Scotland. In return they may become Lairds of Glencoe, a very special and select honour that pronounces their love of this land.

Each year Highland Titles Ltd sets an amount aside to help local good causes in the geographic area surrounding the Reserve and I have the pleasure of picking some of the most deserving cases.

In my first year (I started volunteering on the 1st August 2013) we have helped:

  • Kinlochleven High School with general fundraising and specific projects like rugby strips, and Duke of Edinburgh courses for kids.
  • Ballachulish Primary School with a new outdoor play area.
  • We sponsored Claymore Amateur Boxing club for kids.
  • Glencoe Mountain Rescue, when thieves broke in and stole vital equipment, we helped replace it!
  • Abbeyfield Care home providing holistic massage therapy for the elderly patients.
  • We sponsored Ballachulish Shinty Team.
  • We donated to the Ballachulish Autism Group.
  • We donated to the Project Trust (funding local kids working to help in overseas countries)
  • And we donated towards repairs at Keil Church.

We also became Corporate Members & Sponsors of The RSPB and Trees for Life and have generated over £10,000 for The Wildcat Haven project.

Buy a plot of land in Scotland and join the Lairds of Glencoe

Traditionally, Scottish landowners have been afforded the courtesy title of Laird (Lord) or Lady. Our beautiful plots of land start at £29.99 for one square foot. You can also buy much larger plots of land – the perfect gift for someone with Scottish ancestry or for those who are passionate about conservation.
